  1. Love this so much, definitley one of my favorite dramas. My only complaint is that it could’ve been longer, especially the last episode, it felt a bit rushed, and they really should’ve used the signature again, it’s such a shame they didn’t do it, it could’ve been a really cool extra detail.

  2. i feel like this story could use a season 2 since i have already pictred more episodes in my mind, but i dont know about yall but it was aight

  3. the part where his grandfather remembered his name and who he was when he had dementia was the best scene 10/10… beautiful drama, i liked how the family was still in pieces even after so many years and i hoped that the prosecutor would find out he was do jun from another timeline

  4. I honestly liked the ending. but, one thing I wish the drama did was change the way Hyunwoo initially thought of Dojun. Instead of not knowing/remembering who Dojun is. I wished Hyunwoo knew Dojun but just refused to acknowledge Dojun’s existence (like all of the Soonyang family members) because of his love towards Soonyang and because he felt guilty for being involved in Dojun’s death.

that way, when Hyunwoo got “reborn” as Dojun, it would be an irony that he get to live as the person he did not acknowledge existed, who was also a “victim of Soonyang” like he did. It would also make the courtroom scene more powerful when Hyunwoo acknowledge Dojun’s existence and death as he could be convicted as an accomplice that hid the truth. The reveal that Hyunwoo was involved with Dojun’s death was shocking to me, but I immediately went “you’re telling me Hyunwoo forgot about one of the most traumatizing event in his life???” I know sometimes trauma makes people lose memory. But, there was nothing to indicate that Hyunwoo lose his memory after the accident. So, it was very “?????”

Imagine how interesting the story arc and Hyunwoo’s character development would be. Instead, he came back to Miracle and did the exact same thing Dojun did. which made Dojun’s death almost seemed pointless

  5. A good drama ! Interesting story ,good directing , great music and great actors especially the grandfather ,he was wow !!

  6. he always plays something different and i have always enjoyed it very much….. so happy to see him again after vincenzo.. the ending fits well..

  7. Best thing about the drama is the late chairman and the Jun the grandson. Don’t know why they killed off the chairman so fast. This show had so much potential… Actors were extraordinary but 15 to 16 episodes lacking in so many ways, so many unanswered questions… I enjoyed this show though but writers please spend time and write better scripts and if I was the director I wouldn’t shoot these 2 shitty episodes I’d send it back even if it take me until January to finish the shoots… Quality work is very important. Please stop with bad endings and I’m not talking about the whole cliché stuff but something that has meaning without leaving the audience blank… And what’s the sense of the romance anyway if you couldn’t improve the FL? Sigh… 4/10 on the 2 last episodes 10/10 from 1/14 episodes. I liked Big mouth better but can’t compare the two… The best dramas for me this year is Alchemy of souls, Big mouth, weak hero class 1. This is a great drama could’ve made my list but a let down only going to add is because of ghe relationship with the late chairman and Do Jun.

  8. First and final thought on the drama is that the plot is too frivolous. It’s all over the places.
Great casting except for the lack of character development for the main actress and unnecessary ending of Grandpa’s character.
The ending was meh. Though it was a good ending but I felt like the tension was building up to its peak for many episodes just to rush it and end in like last 10 mins with no real karma to the SY family.
The title is a knock-off since HW was not reborn as DJ but more like a dream in the coma where he dreamt of how DJ’s life was like before his death. (no collection of memories of DJ is probably due to it was his dream or his guilt for witnessing DJ’s death).
But comparing to Big Mouth, which was a total let-down, I really did watch this one till the end just to know how it would end.

  9. After reading all of your comments guys ,I don’t think I can finish the remaining episodes 15,16….I think I Wii be more disappointed than yo ‘all

  10. What I don’t understand is that Do Jun was concious of the future because he lived as HW, and he was able to change the future based on that. But the past was different in HW life, knowing that everything that had happened when HW was Do Jun was living his life means that Do Jun changed the past and present that HW woke up in? Like didn’t the grandfather die in the air plane originally, but when HW wakes up everything that follows the storyline would have needed to mean that grandfather didn’t die because Do Jun saved him with the letter he wrote in the beginning of the show.

    1. Omg people really need to stop bringing this plane crash up, it’s been said before that the plane wasn’t even mentioned in grandpas book from which we conclude that he didn’t die from it, especially knowing that he did in fact die from natural causes, because they said so multiple times in both timelines. Like seriously, did you even watch the drama or are you just sayin watever for the sake of saying something trying to sound smart??

  11. i dont like the ending but its not that bad.. why some people dont understand who do jun was? Do jun is hyeon wo and hyeon wo is do jun , they can’t be without each other it’s 1 person with 2 life

    1. thats not what they said. hyeon wo said that it was repentance he was only visualising dojuns life due to guilt and its mde cler that both are 2 diff ppl which is ehy so many ppl are mad bc then how did no one realise how the two have the same etc

      1. so many typos lol but ment that how did no one realise they have the same face plus this whole dreaming of his lives is just such a weak explanation

  12. I still want to know why the grandfather did not give Do Jun any shares and made a video of him making changes to the will because of Do Jun. Also why did the grandfather ask to leave the same file the got HW killed for Do Jun only when Do Jun understands what his grandfather meant by his will (which I still don’t know).

  13. These writers are dumb as hell. If they’re two different people, then why is it that Do Jun was able to predict the future?

  14. The same thing as big mouth. promising storyline amazing cast ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE WRITING so much potential wasted. ending filled with unneccessary plotholes and saying the drama is fictional does not change that.

    terribly disappointing smh

  15. To be honest I’m not satisfied with the ending. Jin do jun deserved so much better. And also there are some things that didn’t make sense at all

  16. They should have called it ‘dreaming rich’. But yes the ending was poor and disappointing.
Episode 2 to 15 was completely pointless and may as well been a dream.

  17. 1. Hyun Woo and Do Jun have same face but nobody seems surprised.
    2. Seo Min-young looks still same even after 20 years.
    3. For 20 years Hyun Woo did not even think that he was there when Do Jun was killed. In fact it is shown that he never knew about Do Jun existence. How is that even possible after working 20 years there, being at the scene of accident, how how?
Lots of plot holes in the script. Even 10 years old can find all these mistakes but director could not. All this hype for drama Time waste and all. 1/10. Even 1 seems too much

  18. In my personal opinion, this ending was quite good.

    My Summary of the ending:

The ending explained to us that HW and JDJ had different goals (they were different people in the first place). While Hyun Woo wanted to get revenge, Do Jun wanted to own Soonyang. The show started off by giving us the initial idea that both Hyun Woo and Do Jun were the same person but this ending showed us the true intentions of the writers. Instead of HW changing the future when he was JDJ; he was actually just reliving it (even though he made those decisions). People really didn’t get this because SJK played both DJ and HW therefore leaving everyone confused.

    Pros:
    Amazing acting
    Scenes that give you goosebumps
Chemistry between the Cast (specially Do jun and His grandpa)

    Cons:
Confusing storyline (you really need to connect the dots)
    Unnecessary Female Lead.. (sorry)
    Too Rushed

    1. if they’re diff people how tf did do jun predict the future in his life? the tile indicates hyun woo being reborn rich as do jun having an opportunity to turn his life around. and if they’re 2 diff people then it was all a dream? that’s so frustrating, the whole show was jus a dream and hyun woo only existed for 2 episodes in total wtf

  19. Being reborn to see how everything unfolded in JDJ’s pov and right what was wrong as HW. I totally understand the need for the ending. Not a popular ending but the necessary one considering the length of this drama. Some might think the ending seemed rushed…and I tend to agree. Personally, I think this drama could have used 4 more episodes at the very least to clean up eveything and have a different ending. My only other gripe was that the bad guys got off easy. However, I thought this drama was good enough with fantastic chemistry between Joong-ki and Lee Sung-min.

  20. Even though I wanted to see Jin Do Jun married and have the child he was planning about, I’m actually satisfied with the ending. The whole purpose of HW to be reborn as JDJ was to see how everything unfolded from an inside perspective and understand why everything happened and unfolded how it did so that when he wakes up back as HW, he can right his wrong of not reporting it from 20 years ago and also know the proper way to deal with the family to ensure that they paid for all they did. And I’m actually happy that HW didn’t end up dating the FL in the last EP, that would just mess up the story implying that she has to end up with him as HW or JDJ. Great Job Writers!!!!:)

  21. what baffles me is the fact that nobody questions how dojun and hyun woo literally have the same face. Even dojun’s father or the prosecuter girlfriend not one person thought to themselves “he looks exactly like dojun”. like am l the only one who is bothered by that?

    1. This is a fictional story. In real life, I bet both dojun and Hyun would have been coincidentally twin. Hyun never behaved like dojun, they had totally different personality. Hyun would have gotten a lot of attention from dojun’S family if he had acted like dojun- sneaky and fierce.

  22. i hate that Seong Jun was made the bad person in the end, it was all his father’s doing not him. i still stand to what i said before, i don’t comdemn Seong Jun, he may be a little inconsiderate or may have done some despicable things compared to anyone ordinary, but he is not a murderer or masterminded a murder as his family does. he wanted to be recognized, yes but as a competent and deserving business not because he “erased” the obstacle in his way. he wanted to beat JDJ not murder him.

i understand HW getting the favor of Oh Se-hyeun, he knew where to tickle him with business ventures and analytics, he was senior manager of Future Asset Management Department at Soonyang afterall; who could ever pull such data maneuvering for Miracle if not him, he practically founded and run it when he lived as JDJ; he knows his people.

the only thing i’m not in good terms with is the fact the Jin Yong Ki died just like that, i wanted him to have witnessed everything and suffer so much. because of his incompetence he basically roasted his son, he and his siblings made their children’s lives so difficult because of their dumb decisions, all because they can’t have the favor of their father who expected so much of them.

  23. They don’t have to end the series that way. It would be better if there’s a season 2. I want to watch more of Jin Dojun..huhuhuhu

  24. I need time to process things before I give my overall review of this drama, but my initial thoughts after watching this final episode is that I liked it. Was it the “perfect closure” to one of the best k-dramas of 2022? Probably not; however, I feel like the story did close in a way that didn’t betray the overarching theme: chaebol families need to be controlled. There shouldn’t be any doubt about this: the writers clearly demonstrated how the chaebol system is not only morally corrupt and socially problematic, but how it also leads to financial woes that can affect the entire country’s economy.

Thinking back, I think the main issue with this drama is that episodes 1 & 16 were about Hyunwoo’s revenge, while episodes 2-15 were about Dojun’s attempts to become the Soonyang heir. More importantly, I feel like Lee Sungmin’s portrayal of Jin Yangcheol was such a tour de force that stole the whole show. While Song Joongki absolutely delivered as Dojun and Dojun’s balancing act was certainly entertaining, the story turned into “who will win Jin Yangcheol’s approval” instead of “who killed Hyunwoo/ Dojun”. Because we saw how the whole Jin family, Soonyang’s business, and even South Korea’s economy revolved around Jin Yangcheol and his struggles, the revenge plot got sidetracked during the biggest part of the drama. I can’t say I didn’t like it because as I already mentioned Lee Sungmin nailed it, but it would be a lie to claim that Jin Yangcheol’s character and story was not superior to the rest. Jin Yangcheol was not a good person, a good father/ husband/ patriarch, or even a good boss, but he was a magnetic presence. Jin Yangcheol was the heart and soul of this drama and it says a lot how many viewers, if not the overwhelming majority, were more invested in Dojun’s relationship with his grandfather, rather than his love interest.

Beyond that, I don’t begrudge them the choice to not go all “supernatural” and make it a real rebirth or time travel. After all, the strongest known force in this universe is the human brain. Hyunwoo and Dojun had a karmic relationship of sorts imo. Additionally, Hyunwoo idolized Jin Yangcheol to such an extent that it would make sense to have this dream (in both meanings of the word) of meeting his role model. The resolution was rushed and several things were left without explanation, but I don’t believe the ending was wrong, just half-baked. Although ngl, their decision to not have Hyunwoo get with Dojun’s love was 100% right: it would have cheapened the lady’s feelings for Dojun if she could instantly fall in love with someone else the moment she let go of her first love, and it would also be unfair for Hyunwoo himself to always be in the shadow of a dead man.

    1. Bravo!… You stole the words right out of my brain. I totally agree with everything you said. I cried at the end just because I knew Jin Yang Cheol ( his Grandfather) would have been so proud of both of them (HW and JDJ)

  25. sooooooo..It’s ended.. I’m bit happy form ine side.. but on otherside I’m sad about grandfather..Anywaay…THis is a great one..Well i didn’t skip any part here..because of my curiosity..He he..Hats off to all Actors and the Crew..Nice JOB guys..

    1. I feel you man the grandfather died for nothing poor promises for the protagonist ??‍♂️ i mean this last episode was trash

    1. That was a very good drama… Everything felt soo real and i feels like i was one of them and i’m i do exist there…i’m sad cuz it ended and feels soo empty on my heart???
But i feel more sadder for do jun… My love?? his death was soo unfair now i’m crying sitting here??? feels like do jun’s mom?
I want to watch more!! Ending was good for me
      I’ll gave 100/10

  26. i didnt like the ending, I expected these two to end up together, i am happy Jin Young ended incarcerated. he was so mean because of power.

    1. nah, that would mean Seo Min-young falling in love with HW because he resembles JDJ (as he would since he practically live JDJ’s life for 17 years) and would end up questioning her feelings for HW; and HW would not be satisfied in their relationship because he knew exactly the reason why she would fall for him. that would be sad for both of them

  27. Just as said before, everything is rushed at last episode. Nothing makes sense. Unnecessary love drama, everything jumbling to make overdramatic scene. I had hoped this drama was true to manhwa story. What a waste trip!

  28. the best drama of 2022 !!! watched every minute without skipping. the actors are so talented and amazing storyline. I laughed so hard at the scene where the eldest grandson throws a tantrum at the assembly lool

  29. Hmm.. this is anti climatic, just like how Again My Life ended..everything rushed into the final episode.

The drama producers should have made this drama into atleast 20 episodes instead of the usual 16 episodes. Repentance is a good answer but not convincing enough to just explain it in a single episode.

    1. How did Hyun Woo repented on his silence over Do Jun’s family for the past 20 years? Soo Yang family just fell apart just from a simple audio recording that he kept? Also whats with people not recognising that they literally have the same FACE?

    2. The ending is also unfair for Seong Jun, he’s technically a victim.. his dad set this up and made it seemed that the accident was instigated by him. And the 700 mil funds illegally transferred by Mo Hyun Min’s relatives..isn’t that suspicious? Could it be Hyun Min was the one who masterminded Hyun Woo’s attempted murder and tried to use her husband as scapegoat…well she does have motive, she mentioned that she would anything to make sure her son would inherit Soon Yang one day.

Here’s how I think the drama should have unfolded for atleast 18-20 episodes..

    1. Hyun Woo’s back from the dead and trying to takeover Soon Yang using Miracle by proxy, at the same time, he managed to gain the trust of Do Jun’s parents through convincing his brother from his past life. The drama has shown how Do Jun’s brother is very perceptive and smarter than he looks. He’s so underutilised in the final episode…

And Where’s Rachel? Why can’t they bring up that ‘H.W’ Howard signature scene again? If Rachel had made her appearance again infront of Hyun Woo, I’m sure she’ll know he’s Do Jun just from his HW signature.

wouldn’t it be nice if Hyun Woo able to takeover Soon Yang from using the power of the minor stakeholders..the will of people from the bottom…. .instead of just using them and manipulate public opinion to request for hearing? afterall, the entire series is about the underdog..

and Why cant they just hire another actor to play Hyun Woo, it’s ok to not just Soong Jong Ki as the same actor playing both characters, it only adds plot holes.

    2. Instead of killing off Chairman Young Ki on epi 16, let him live.. Seong Jun still has scores to deal with his dad and his wife. In the Soon Yang family tree, Seong Jun and Mo Hyun Min have 2 children, a son and daughter. Where are they now? Isn’t it better to have more scenes exploring Mo Hyun Min’s motivations behind all this was all for her children, just like her mirroring to what Ok Pil did to her husband.. that would be so META….

And in episode 1, there was this scene where Hyun Woo mentioned how Chairman Young Ki is allergic to peaches…. so even if Seong Jun was made the scapegoat for the 700 mil embezzlement/Hyun Woo’s attempted murder by his wife and Do Jun’s accident by his dad, wouldn’t it be so f*cked up plot twist that he was actually behind his father’s stroke.. then the ending would all tied up like a neat bow as the perfect X’mas present….

Sigh… I’m hoping fanfic writers able to create even better ending that epi 16.. felt like this is Game of thrones Season 8 all over again.

    1. At this point, you will have to complete the series yourself… hahan!
You made some valid points. I believe we deserve a thorough explanation for all the wrongs you mentioned. However, what can we do? The ended it!

  30. I am dissatisfied with this ending. The series started with a bang. But ended with a tame ending.
So episode 2 to 15 was almost a dream. Lame.

  31. Why anyone didn’t realize hyun woo and do jun look like same???even the gravestone photo is same…family or that prosecutor didn’t realize that…

    1. And if you are both highly disappointed like me i recommend reading the webtoon since it’s so much different from the serie

  32. so it wasn’t different universe but all the same and not to mention it was actually same timeline? it’s messed up, his enemies tried to kill 3 time successfully killed 1 time and all this ended with legal punishment. Am I the only one who wanted to see some bloody revenge like bankrupting his enemies and see them begging in their knees for mercy. .

Dude just forgiving all his enemies and life happily ever after with his crush and go as Miracle’s owner is better ending than this

  33. I think because it is a public holiday in most countries.subs could be massively delayed. Some dramas today have not had subs for over 5 hours.

    1. bro you got to be kidding me!!! I’ve been waiting for the WHOLE day. literally refreshing every 5 mins. NOOOO!!!!!!!
Any idea how long will it exactly take

      1. What the hell is this? I can’t believe this is how it ended. Nothing makes sense, they just weaved together god knows what and never managed to explain who Do Jun was, they only managed to complicate it even more! What do you mean the MC wasn’t doing this for revenge but rather, repentance? What kind of BS is this?

What exactly was the purpose of watching 14 episodes of the MC being reborn as a heir of Soonyang? I’m so mad and disappointed. They managed to ruin such a good show by rushing it. This is terrible.

        1. Like literally.. I agree! It wasn’t the ending viewers imagined. It was all mixed up. The best drama had the worst ending.

        2. Man i wish i go get the hours back from watching this show, i mean come on he was dreaming from episode 2 to 15…total waste of time..
It Was All A Dream: ‘Dallas’
Then an entire season of TV happened, until Bobby’s ex-wife Pamela awoke in her bed and revealed that NONE OF IT HAPPENED!…..Same kind of BS
