  1. so i am right about mofang identity, he is son of fusheng’s master…
    fusheng’s master is still alive, in xuntian abyss… fusheng and mofang want to free him..
    it’s impossible for shenli to die at episode 23, so it’s not spoiler to say she is still alive…
    when shenli thought she will die, the only person in her mind is xingzhi…

    in my opinion, disappearance of shenli (they assume that she has died) brings good things :
    * xingzhi realized how deep his love for shenli…
    * they can hide for time being from their responsibilities, grows their love..
    • the political marriage between shenli and furong will be cancelled..

    the ending of this drama will make sense, i will not worry about it

  5. Mofang is a LOSER young master❗
    I get why they call him “young master”…. It’s got nothing to do with royalty or son of royalty/leaders…. It’s because he was Liuming’s student, Liuming was a master/leader of the Demons now locked away in the Abyss.
    Even though we know Mofang is one of the Demons, I hope he’s not dead cause I would like to kill him a thousand times. At any time during the years he lived/worked for Shen Li he could have told her the truth.
    I loved how they did this episode, it was the perfect reaction to a beloved being killed in action at a young age!
    It was realistic, honest and not over done.
    Xing Zhi’s reaction was so on point, “kill the messenger” rage was portrayed expertly. Denial, Anger, Grief….(The other two steps, bargaining and acceptance) is not applicable to Xing Zhi being an all powerful God.
    Shen Li’s tears when she resolved to kill Mofang was heartbreaking. Him not doing anything to retaliate was his love for her, his conflict of being caught between the two worlds.
    Of course we know Shen Li is not dead but at this point it was necessary to bring Xing Zhi into the realisation that he can’t be neutral, even though he knows he could be punished with death. Going bullistic in the North Sea, seeking revenge on the entire clan ….. He doesn’t care about his punishment because Shen Li is all he can think of now.

  7. I’m shifting gears a bit here. I’m now understanding why they gave us one eposide 22 on Friday and the other on Saturday. The other eposides 24 and 25 will give us all or most of the answers that we are looking for.
    Anyway this is to keep us on the edge of our seats and wanting more.

  8. All of her last thoughts are of my Lord while she perishes😭Again where is my lord? Sipping a cup of tea, feeling bad energy. Dude get off your ass and do some Godly things. Do you know how many times I was like, I know he’s going to save her, even though I had all confidence that she would win that battle because she kicked ass all the way threw.
    Not worried tho that fat chicken is going to rise from the asses like the pheonix she is🙏
    That pheonix was 💯 best one I’ve seen so far

Mofeng how could you betray her! he is a puppet in his own clan and has no higher skills like FS..he couldnt take a call to kill her but he did nothing to save her also! even she held that spear and could punch thru him only her tears flooded at his betrayal! aww so cruel when she sacrificed herself to burn that evil! but isnt she a phoenix! she will rise from her own flames! but guess she got trapped in that water…and that tear she shed for Xz says all her last wishes! XZ disbelief and the way he emoted all his anger to that general and rest of them!

  10. That single tear that fell into the sea just before Shen Li did must be of significance. If not, it’s a wasted close up.
    The generals bringing just the costume of Shen Li very reminiscent of Mofang’s clothing/sword in the coffin. We all know how that played out ….hint! hint!
    There should be no confusion about Shen Li’s parents… it’s in the synopsis of the storyline. Feng Lai, student of Luiming and Liu Yu, best friend of her Holiness.
    Shen Li, born during the last war was given to her Holiness by Liu Yu when she realized her man Feng Lai had gone rogue.

  13. Well, the reveal didn’t take long.

    ShenLi is a Phoenix. She will rise from the ashes and become a fire chicken all over again… i bet she is a Divine God as well. Maybe then they can be together. Or there is a loop hole where she and XZ end up together as gods who live indefinitely.

  15. Omg I shed so many tears this episode, but it felt good to cry. Chinese dramas are good for the soul, very cleansing.
    Finally Xingzhi showed some real emotion, I’m hoping Shen Li ends up a Goddess to be with him…
