    In this costume story, what a better way to declare women’s freedom of choice as it is a taboo in contemporain Cdramas. Congrats to our dear Creator, Director and Executive producer, it slipped through censorship.

  5. Shen Li who might have never had feelings for someone before is sacrificing her freedom to save the man she likes. I wonder if the man she is being forced to marry is him? Shen Li is dominating the relationship for now, again a chaotic pair and he gives her the freedom to be who she is while he remains calm.

    “When I fall for a man.I wouldn’t allow him to be involved with anyone. When I want something. I want it all, not one bit less”. Yes, ma’am, and I don’t blame you for that.

    Cheng Jin stood by and watched his little demon die to save his wife. So cruel to use her like that.

    Ps: Her discipline resembles Deng Lun maybe it’s just me. Give me a moment while I go cry because we will not see him on our screens again 😭.

    My liking this story is that up to now the different inside plots are solved within 1-1/2 episode. No lingering, no fillers, not hesitation to get them over with, Shen Li is straightforward but not a beast.

    The cast has a good level of acting, I see no weakness, no over the top acting, all actors are meaningful. This cast is really professional. Also, all the scenes are even in term of filming, wardrobe, sceneries, make-up, props, etc.

    I think it will be an enjoyable ride.

    All she sees and knows is him. And no matter what, he is not a good person. I don’t care the logic, he’s too messed up to be good at this point.

  13. I swear this is a continuation of TPA, Im just grateful to be watching both of them together again. At first I wasn’t paying much attention to the story line, I was just enjoying them together even when she was a fat chicken lol, but the storyline is really good, and its getting better.
