  5. Lol…..GP keeps giving these puzzled looks. I bet he’s asking himself if he just switched sides or something. 😂 I can’t help but laugh. We got to know him very well during Hospital Playlist and he was mischievous devil in that one. So any smirks or grins or eye movements he does and I wanna laugh. I gotta remember this is a serious piece~
    Neither the GP or that main councillor want any part of the courts machinations. QD gonna gets her son killed. I can’t stand scenes with the queen right now. Her eyes are always wide open and crazy looking at all times ugh. And the king IS bat shite crazy. He’s so fickle. Fitting title for the drama indeed. GOOD TIMES AHEAD!!! 😀

  6. I don’t like the preview. Things are getting bad pretty fast. Why Minister of war is doing what he wants? What other ministers are doing? The prince instead of playing baduk should care more for himself and dangers around him.

  7. The prince is stupid or what? When the Qing wanted to take the Royal prince for hostage, he didn’t have to get involved. He just needed to do nothing. This will make his position stronger and he can come back to Joseon. Or he can just arrange Qing to get with the Royal prince, the Minister of war too.

    I can’t get into it fully because if that. The leads are nice together and I think there is enough palace politics to carry the drama. The pretend-to-be-man part is unnecessary.

  13. ⚠ Spoilers Ahead!

    Prince Dodo (Lee In) still has not realized that Mong Woo is a woman. Honestly, even a virgin can tell immediately. Her physique and mannerisms – the way she talked and waddled. More importantly can’t he smell her scent is that of a woman? Especially so when she is interested in him and she emits a distinct smell, the love scent.

    I hope that next week we see some real actions. I am intrigued by how she will become a spy and presumably is dispatched to Ming to do the work of a Spy Maggie there. Also, why is she seeking revenge on Prince Dodo?

    It has an interesting historical backdrop too, the geopolitcs, the rivalry between the Ming and the Qing, with Joseon caught in between – the defeat of King Injo and the princes taken as hostages.

    Also the prostitutes (they still get married?) I wonder how common that was? do you just bring her to a place where you think no one will ever know her?

I am always confused as to who gets the crown- I thought it was like the king if he dies passes the crown to his son or crown prince- how would a brother of king get to be the king? if he passes away? I suppose this is Why the kings be killing all their male family members to avoid threats- that is so crazy!!!

  28. I love to watch kdrama especially the main leads are pretty faces. The plot and the story line seems very realistic. I don’t like to watch violent show /movie/dramas. The leads actors and actresses acting presicely well as long as not too overacting and trying hard I am okey to be honest. There are so many ugly and nasty people around us, so the kdrama with pretty main leads and funny story line , it’s a kind of comforting put one’s feet up settle back simmer down sit around . Don’t worry about thier blant acting is hard to put up of various different techniques to create believable characters and them to really put themselves in the place of a character.

    I really like this, not because it’s spectacular or anything, it’s just enjoyable and there’s not much else to enjoy right now.
    Have mercy, please let her tell him within 5 eps, in fact I’m hoping for ep3, but it feels like they’ll drag it.
