2. U Ri spends his day dealing with the persistent requests of Su Ji’s patients and their caretakers. Meanwhile, Su Ji grapples with memories from her childhood that unexpectedly resurface at The Courtyard House. Unaware of Su Ji’s inner turmoil, U Ri becomes irritated upon discovering that Su Ji has discarded the sorghum rice cake balls gifted by Sun Young. Meanwhile, Jin Tae’s birthday is marked by Ma Ri’s indifference, dampening the festivities.

   After speaking, U Ri saluted and entered his room, Su Ji was stunned. Su Ji didn’t respond when Nurse praised U Ri.

   The patient hopes to see Su Ji at the next visit, U Ri agrees. U Ri was annoyed because he heard the same words from several patients.

   Someone picked up Su Ji on Director’s orders. At first Su Ji refused, but she was finally forced to go because Director already heading to the resto.

   Na Young (JNY) saw Su Ji who was getting into the car. Su Ji saw her who was being ordered by her superior to bring 2 boxes of equipment. Su Ji asked permission and approached her.
   She ignores Su Ji’s calls and refuses Su Ji’s help. She was cynical when Su Ji stated that she would help to realize her dream. She hoped that Su Ji would stop acting like Su Ji was better than her and more special because Su Ji was famous. Su Ji just looked at her leaving.

   Su Ji arrived at the resto, she immediately remembered her old memories when her mom welcomed her. Sun Young (CSY) welcomes Doo Ri. Doo Ri introduces Su Ji to CSY. CSY stated that she actually wanted to meet Su Ji to apologize and thank her.
   Director arrives, CSY introduces Doo Ri to Director. Doo Ri thanks Director for saving her mom. CSY invited them into the resto.

   They prepared food to celebrate Director’s birthday. Su Ji wished him a happy birthday, he was very happy because this time he celebrated his birthday with Su Ji.
   Su Ji looked lethargic and had no appetite for seaweed soup.

   Su Ji’s father was playing games when his business partner came. He was very happy when his business partner explained the progress of their business plan. His business partners refused to let him get directly involved. They drink together and sing karaoke to celebrate it.

   Su Ji didn’t finish her meal. Su Ji thanked Director, Director left first. Su Ji refused Sun Young’s gift because she didn’t eat rice cake (sorghum rice cake balls), but she still forced Su Ji to accept it because can give it to her family members.
   Su Ji immediately remembered old memories of her birthday with her mom. Su Ji immediately became stressed, her face was pale and she didn’t feel well.
   U Ri saw Su Ji throwing the paper bag into the trash box. U Ri immediately chased Su Ji. Su Ji was shocked when U Ri showed her a paper bag. U Ri rebuked Su Ji’s attitude. Su Ji stated she had already refused but was forced to accept. U Ri again rebuked Su Ji’s attitudes. Su Ji apologized. U Ri refused when Su Ji wanted to take the paper bag back because she would throw it elsewhere. U Ri was annoyed and stated that he was not happy with people who were disrespectful to other people. Su Ji again stated the reason she had refused but was forced, she became sad, she gave permission to go.
   Su Ji reprimanded herself for her attitude. (there was a misunderstanding and more complications… LOL).

   U Ri was still annoyed when she remembered Su Ji’s words, he immediately hid the paper bag when Sun Young entered.
   U Ri praised the deliciousness of CSY’s rice cakes.
   CSY tells U Ri that Director ate with Su Ji. She was worried about Su Ji’s lethargic condition and not feeling well. U Ri responded to CSY’s concerns sarcastically.

   Su Ji arrived home. She asks Do Young’s condition. He promises not to disappoint Su Ji again. Su Ji knocked on Na Young’s door and entered the room. She saw the announcement on the laptop and remembered when JNY saw the announcement at the Studio.
   JNY scolds Su Ji. She immediately became cynical when Su Ji proposed asking a professional announcer to teach her a lesson. She immediately kicked Su Ji out and slammed the door.

   Su Ji’s father arrived home drunk. He shouted for his family members. Su Ji again reminded him to check and not believe other people’s words.

   Ma Ri refuses Director’s paper bag, and ignores him. Ma Ri tells about the birthday gift that was placed in his room. Director was disappointed because Ma Ri went straight into the room, he went into his room. Director drank alone while eating the rice cake.

   When Su Ji is about to leave, Na Young meets her. She asks for confirmation about Su Ji’s previous promise. Su Ji promised to try. She promises to work hard to make her dream come true. She again asks Su Ji to promise to do that. Su Ji promises to do it and asks her not to be disappointed if it doesn’t come true.

   At the end of the episode, JNY stated that this was the last time she asked Su Ji for help. Su Ji was stunned when she begged and called her older sister (Eonni).

4. So Suji’s mom voice sounds like Chae Sun Young. Also Suji’s name when she was younger was Sun Kyung?

6. Dunno if it’s just me but the acting in this daily is levels above what we’ve seen in a while.

7. Perhaps, it’s too early to be critical, but for me, there are not very many likeable characters so far. In addition, while I accept a certain amount of exaggeration in the reactions and behaviour of characters in a drama, a daily especially, I find the ML seems to be overreacting to the FL’s behaviour. On the positive side, they are setting up numerous potential plot lines that could be interesting. Is the FL adopted, why was the child left with that family, why is the director’s wife so cold and distant, did the director really save that person’s life, etc…. Nothing new, but the execution can be the difference between a good and bad drama.
