  1. And the jade was supposed to be a purple petal, a part of an ancient artifact in the form of a 3-leaf clover and the effect on its owner is pretty much the same.

They skipped about 2 arcs (plum tree demon arc plus *a character* and Xiwu’s capture and imprisonment in Yiyue tribe territory) for this episode but I don’t mind as long as the result was the same. That shaman though, I didn’t expect that they would make the character a woman. I was always imagining the shaman as a bald man in white creepy looking robes haha. I’m still disappointed though that they didn’t include Xiwu’s martial arts skills in the drama as she did many times so in the novel. I really like the one where she confronted the ninth princess of Sheng with just a stick against her whip. This happened around after the new year’s eve was celebrated in the novel.
